Dyslexia Assessment Services ( North East) offers full diagnostic assessment conducted by a fully qualified specialist teacher who holds a current DBS certificate. Assessment can be carried out in the comfort of your own home , in a prearranged quiet room at your child's school or in a well - appointed room in an independent facility.

 

 

 

The earlier you can identify dyslexic tendencies, the sooner you can help your child to achieve their academic potential and boost their self esteem.

 

 

Assessments can be carried out in the following areas:

 

  • Newcastle

  • Sunderland

  • Durham (County Durham)

  • Middlesbrough/Stockton

  • Northumberland (Up to Morpeth/Cramlington areas)

  • North Yorkshire (Northerly areas)

  • PGCE

  • PGC Teaching Pupils with Dyslexia,

  • AMBDA

  • Assessment Practising Certificate (Registered with British Dyslexia Association)

  • Full Professional Member of the British Dyslexia Association.

  • 30 years of teaching experience

  • 20 years of experience as a Special Needs Coordinator in mainstream schools.

  • Qualified to provide evidence for examination concessions (access arrangements- including extra time)
